Favourites Central Zone emerged champions by winning the fourth successive league matche in the Women`s Inter-Zonal Cricket Championship at Cuttack today.
Central rode on Priyanka Roy`s fine all-round performance to thrash host East Zone by 75 runs in their last match. Priyanka top-scored in the match with 72 runs and then bagged three wickets for 29 runs.
A sparkling knock of 96 by Sundhu Ashok powered South Zone to a thumping 86-run win over North Zone in another match of the day.
